"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world"
. Nelson Mandela
We live in such a fantastic part of the world, so we try to embrace this in our day to day activities.
For example, we have many pets including a chicken coop, guinea pig, fish and birds. Our children learn about responsibility and respect in caring for our animals and also about the life cycle and nature cycle - their food comes from left overs.
Each room also has a plot in our communal garden to grow various plants and produce over the year. It's a great way for the children to learn about how plants grow and the environment they need.
Our grounds are a place for learning through play. The outdoor play area has some fantastic large trees and in some pockets it even feels like you're in a rain forest. We have natural grass and sand/dirt for the children to play and learn in a natural environment.
